I grew up amongst tobacco fields in mostly suburban, somewhat rural North Carolina, the fifth and only daughter of two conservative computer nerds.  As such, I decided I hated computer science and wanted to enter the hedonistic world of Hollywood.  Naturally.

I came to Los Angeles a 21-year-old bleary-eyed, broadcasting graduate from a mountain school no one outside of college football has ever heard of, and I dove right in.

I've worked on digital content for such national projects as Storage Wars and Project Runway, as well as long form content like the Kindness Diaries (available on Netflix) and live web broadcasts in sports and for red carpet.  I've been a production assistant, camera operator, gaffer, grip, and DIT in addition to my day job as an editor.  I like to have my pie and eat the cake too.
