On the phone, open Google Messages, tap your profile picture, then Device pairing.

On the computer, go to
messages.google.com/weband pair, either with your Google account (confirm the matching emoji on the phone) or by scanning the QR code (account pairing details). - 3
In another tab, open ForReelsies and choose Record from browser. When the browser asks what to share, pick the Google Messages tab.

Scroll slowly through the conversation, then click Stop sharing; the recording uploads automatically.
Notes
- Keep the phone connected while recording.
- This works for conversations in Google Messages. If you use another texting app (such as Samsung Messages), switch Google Messages to your default app or use the phone's screen recorder.
- The same browser recording works for WhatsApp Web and Messenger.
