Turn on Do Not Disturb from Quick Settings.

Open Quick Settings and tap Screen record (on Samsung phones, Screen recorder); choose no sound.

Open the conversation, start recording, and scroll slowly, about one screen per second.

Stop recording, then pick the videos in the ForReelsies app or upload them on the web.
Notes
- The tile name and location vary by phone maker. On Pixel phones it is Screen record; on Samsung it is Screen recorder; on others, swipe through Quick Settings or tap the edit (pencil) icon to add it.
